Edd , when doing the oil filter , i caused damage by not seating the filter with a click into the filter housing lid , i wrongly just placed the filter in and screwed lid down . after 15 miles i got an oil pressure warning . i pulled the filter back out and had snapped the end of the oil filter 😳😳😳 my lesson learned !!! also just done my oil pressure switch today on my axd 2.5 tdi transporter t5 , with engine fully hot , cooling fans running , 30 psi at 2000rpm , is this ok ??? i had a false warning from my switch !!!

Edd, i dont think the screws were a good idea. it works fine with a chain and yo avoid future problems...

Ed, An Interesting job but so much easier if you had popped off the other switch buttons (all come off with a similar detent catch, accessible through the little hole in the side. I have a TD21 and do all my own maintenance. If your friend wants anything else doing, give me a shout for some 'Top Tops' to help you.

My 2014 T5 blowers don't turn off with the ignition - if I forget to turn it to the '0' setting it flattens the battery. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

16:45 Combustible gases working to shielding, because when it burn it take oxygen and give CO2. No high pressure tank needed. Even small camping gas is suitable. Flux-Core wire need different polarity than gas shielded wire.

You can use lots of 25L containers of water to the raise the level by placing them around the spaces. I used Phosphoric acid to dip the end of a bonnet and get into the creases. Its alot cheaper. You can also get oxy powder which is similar to evaporust (without the water), again alot cheaper.

Try full penetrantion welding on 10 mm thick steel @ 30 degrees angle with multiple passes

2 totes is $12K CAD, not to mention how many smaller jugs were used when starting the fill of the pool. The material is essentially spent, based on the colour, at the end of the project (piece/part). Reducing the volume of the active material, such as reducing the pool/container size to fit the project better, does not dismiss how much product is required for the amount of rust to be removed. I would think that some low volume circulation pumps may better distribute the product for efficiency. If that was exampled, I think the inner frame may have been "cleared up" a little more (not really shown). All of the above being said, I use the product often on small to medium parts for surface rust. Just my 2 cents.

you may have even been able to add some volume displacers to raise the level of evaporust. if you have large containers that fit in the unused areas of the pool and fill them with water to raise the level of the pool.

I use Phosphoric as a remover. I would have dipped the tank in acid or that oxy type remover, then welded it if necessary and paint in epoxy.

I don't know the budget to make the episode, but if you put something a little smaler than the inside of the chassi, could use half of the chemicals. It's my opinion
